Hotel Simon

Found by chance... poking around on the internet to look for an excellent offer for the August 2023 holidays!!! Once you arrive on site you are welcomed by a friendly and kind staff, skeptical about the buffet formula for lunch and dinner we immediately realized that it is a brilliant idea, very quick and practical. There are three first courses and three second courses, after a rich choice of starters, which you can eat all without limits... excellent location from the center to the sea. In the end I think I found an excellent hotel at a good price including a swimming pool. I thank the owner Rossana for her professionalism and availability.

Like last summer, my husband and I decided to spend a couple of days in Gatteo, with overnight stay and full board at the Hotel Simon and, this time too, we had a wonderful time. The owner of the hotel is really kind, welcoming and always available (at the end of the season, where tiredness certainly makes itself felt!), as are all the hotel staff, who did everything they could, despite the very short stay, to help us. feel like precious guests. The food is very good and of great variety; the swimming pool, very clean, represents an attractive alternative to the sea which, however, is just a few tens of meters away, like all the major elements of interest in the seaside resort. We recommend this hotel to everyone: we too will try to return as soon as possible, thank you for everything!

I stayed in this hotel for the first time, together with my children. The structure is not the most recent, but the bathrooms are still renovated. Beyond this I will focus on the most important thing, the preparation, kindness and hospitality of the staff, led by Mrs. Rossana, always present and smiling like the other two girls at the reception. The bar and restaurant staff are also very well assorted and prepared, made up of a group of really nice, friendly, helpful and willing young guys (Salvo, Christian, Simon and Martina at the top!). Breakfast, lunch and dinner buffet, always varied and with meat and fish at every meal. Also available to help those who, like me, have food intolerances. Diana, animator of the toy library, was exceptional and enlivened the moments of play and organized interesting workshops. In a week I was pampered like a friend and I felt really at ease in this family environment. Last but not least, it has a swimming pool and is 100 meters from the sea. I feel like recommending this hotel with my eyes closed, if only for the fact that it leaves everyone with a bit of nostalgia. Thank you with all my heart!

Stayed several times in this hotel, always positive experience, trained staff always ready to accommodate every request. Varied and fresh food, clean rooms, nice swimming pool. Children's entertainment different from the usual ones, as well as having a huge internal space dedicated to the little ones with inflatables and various games, Diana the entertainer often offers very creative and interesting jobs. For us a certainty every time we come to the Riviera!!! Super recommended!!!

Booked a week with a 7 month old baby. Received reassurances that everything would be met in terms of nutrition, times, etc... Dirty room and sheets upon our arrival. Requested to replace them, twice, given that the first time they didn't replace the child's mattress cover, which was dirty with feces. Food for adults ok. Food for such young children KO. All the staff are very friendly, but the service is poor and at times amateurish. 1. They cannot tell you how many ml of vegetable broth the children need, despite the express request to check the quantities to make sure the child is hydrated. 2. I am unable to make a vegetable puree of only potatoes and carrots, even though the child had gastro, needed solid foods and the room had been notified at breakfast and in time of the problem 3. Asked several times to have broth, pasta and vegetables separated so we could control the quantities and make sure the child was eating well due to the virus. Only done once, the others either forgot the vegetables or cooked the pasta directly in the broth or brought the broth already mixed with the puree. 4. Asked once to add more broth because it was too little: it was impossible to fulfill the request 5. Baby bath tub to be peeled off. Used once, then we preferred to make do in another way In short, if as an adult you can adapt to certain things, you can't joke about such young children. Especially if they are ill and require extra care. Never again.

We just stayed at the Simon hotel and had a great time. The owner Rossana is super friendly and helpful. Excellent food, our room was large with a double bed + bunk and we had the necessary space to move around, plus the bathroom was very nice and redone with a large shower. The beach is 100 meters away as well as the streets which in the evening become closed to traffic and are walks for all tourists.

I stayed with my wife and daughter in this hotel for a week. This year we decided to do full board, I would say an excellent choice. I'll start by praising the owner Rossana, a very kind person, smiling and always present at the reception together with the girls who are also very nice. The room is welcoming and with all the comforts required by the customers. As far as catering is concerned, the guys who serve are very professional and polite. The buffet food served by the waiters is excellent. It is a hotel very close to the sea and the center where in the evening you can take pleasant walks as there are many shops. In short, we must say that it was the first time we spent a holiday in this hotel and it will not be the last. We recommend it to everyone, even those with teenage children.
